The event at Birmingham Library was enjoyed by 100 guests, including Ray Hassall, Lord Mayor of Birmingham.
Other attendees included two partners of the CISI’s educational programme for young people, Jim Steeley, Professor of Finance & Head of Group at Aston University and Suzie Branch, Director at Greater Birmingham Professional Services Academy, Birmingham Metropolitan College.
The branch also invited Gareth Hodson ACSI, 2015 CISI annual award winner for the Advanced Global Securities Operations qualification. Gareth is Dividends and Income Supervisor for EFG Harris Allday in Birmingham.
Updates about CISI were given by Lydia Romero, the Institute’s Director of Learning, and branch President Ian Bailey, Chartered MCSI.
A charity collection held in aid of West Midlands-based Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust raised £1,080 plus Gift Aid.
