The IFP Professional Forum encourages CISI’s financial planning members to share their ideas and listen to presentations by other practitioners. The Forum provides an opportunity to meet other professionals and engage in open discussions in a confidential setting, as forums are conducted under the Chatham House rule.
Martin is head of business development at Paradigm Norton Financial Planning and has been deputy chairman of the CISI IFP Professional Forum since its formation in 2015. He takes over the role of chairman from Ian Howe CFPTM Chartered MCSI, who has stepped down. Ian remains a CISI member.
Martin said: “This is a very exciting time in the growth of the profession of financial planning in the UK and I am honoured to take on the role of chairing the CISI IFP Forum, as it continues to assist its members to help shape the profession for the benefit of UK consumers.”

The CISI has nine professional forums which include the practitioner areas of: bonds, compliance, corporate finance, international regulation, fintech, financial planning, operations, risk and wealth management.
