The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), the leading global professional body for securities, investment, wealth, and financial planning, has announced the appointment of Mary Boyd ACSI as the new President of its Gibraltar National Advisory Council (NAC).Taking over from Ian Woods, Chartered MCSI Mary will lead in overseeing the Council’s activities in the region.
Mary (left) is currently the Chief Risk Officer at Blacktower Financial in Gibraltar. Prior to joining Blacktower in 2018, she held a Senior Compliance Specialist position at Citi covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mary has been a CISI member for over a decade,
On her appointment, Ms. Boyd said: “I’ve been VP for the last year and it’s great to take over the President role in more normal times. I look forward to being part of some exciting CISI events starting with the upcoming social event on the Sunborn on 30 September. We’ve got some very capable females on the NAC and this proves that CISI promotes equality and professional development for everyone”.
