How do I become Chartered?

Across the world and in many industries, an individual Charter is recognised as the peak of professionalism

Holding a Charter is a prestigious achievement that recognises your commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and demonstrates to clients and peers that you are at the top of your profession.

Individually Chartered members must abide by the Royal Charter, Bye-laws, and Regulations and uphold the CISI's high standards as published in our Professional Code.

The CISI offers individual Chartered status through two grades of membership, Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow.

Requirements to achieve Chartered status

The eligibility requirements for Chartered Member and Chartered Fellow membership grades vary depending on your qualifications and knowledge.
