The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is delighted to announce the accreditation of ZCAS University, Lusaka as an approved and trusted local training partner for CISI global capital markets skills programmes.
Established in 1989, the ZCAS tagline is Aspire, Acquire, Prosper and the university offers training for accountants, promoting research and the advancement of learning in accountancy, finance, and related studies.
Educational charity and professional body the CISI has a global membership of 53,700 based in over 100 countries. The Institute offers qualifications and lifelong e-learning opportunities for those working or aspiring to work in the capital markets, financial planning and wealth management professions.
The CISI accreditation of ZCAS University is part of a tri-partite collaboration between CISI, SEC Zambia and ZCAS. The CISI has worked with SEC Zambia since 2016 on the development of a bespoke qualifications licensing pathway to elevate standards for Zambian capital markets professionals.
The achievement of CISI Accredited Training Partner status for ZCAS University allows students to study locally for the CISI International Introduction to Investment.

“Through this partnership agreement, ZCAS University in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission will be the local accredited training partner for the International Introduction to Securities & Investment module in Zambia. This module and the Regulatory Assessment module form part of the requirements for capital market practitioners in Zambia to be licensed by SEC.”
